Choquequirao is one of the most beautiful places left by the Incas, is in a place that looks like a jungle. Combined with the option of going to the natural wonder Machupicchu. Great trek

Day 1: Cusco - Cachora

We leave Cusco around 8 am and travel to Cachora Village(2900 m.a.s.l). This trip takes around 4 and half hours. Once we arrive to Cachora we will have something to eat. We will stay in a basic hostel. but from thetown you will have great views of Salkantay mountain.

Day 2: Cachora - Capuliyoc Viewpoint - Chiquisca - Playa Rosalinda

After our delicious breakfast, we will start our trek around 6:00 am. We will walk to Capuliyoc viewpoint which takes around 2 hours. After that you will start walking down to Chiquisca where we have lunch.

After lunch we keep walking down to Playa Rosalinda(1470 m.a.s.l), place in which we will camp.

Day 3: Playa Rosalinda - Santa Rosa - Maranpata - Choquequirao Ruins

This day we will start early, around 7 am. That, because we will go to Choquequirao ruins. We will walk up to Santa Rosa which takes around 2 hours. Then we will keep alking up to Maranpata, arriving around 12 pm. In Maranpata is possible to have lunch. Getting to the ruins takes around 2 hours. There's a campsite in Choquequirao.

Day 4: Choquequirao Ruins visit

This day will be a day for visiting the ruins. These ruins are just compared to the beauty of Machupicchu Ruins. Camping here.

Day 5: Choquequirao - Rio Blanco - Maizal

Early in the morning we will start walking, first will be about one hour uphill. Then walking down to Rio Blanco(river) can take around 2 hours. We will have lunch next to the river. After some time spent there we will start walking up to Maizal. This part of the road is a muddy and steep and takes around 3 hours. Camping there.

Day 6: Maizal - Victoria Pass - Yanama

Around 7 am we will start getting ready for the trek. The we will walk up around 4 hours up to the Victoria pass(4180 m.a.s.l). Then is just downhillto Yanama and takes around 2 and half hours. There we will camp.

Day 7: Yanama - Llamoja Pass - Santa teresa

After breakfast, around 8 am; we will start walking up to the Llamoja High Pass(4812 m.a.s.l) and this takes around 3 hours. We can walk a bit more down where a car will be waiting to take us to Santa Teresa. Once we arrive to Santa Teresa we will go to the base camp. And at night we can go the Hot Springs.

Day 8: Zip Lining - Hidroelectrica - Aguas Calientes

Around 9 am we will be picked up for the Zip Lining. The zip lines are 6 cables with a lenght of 2500 meters in total and the cable are 150 meters high from the ground. After that memorable moment of adrenaline we will go to Hidroelectrica. In that place you can have something to eat(there are some small restaurants). Then we will walk to Aguas Calientes which takes 2 hours. Once we arrive to Aguas Calientes we will camp. Dinner will be in the town.

Day 9: Aguas Calientes - Huayna Picchu - Machupicchu Citadel

Around 5 am we will take the bus up to The citadel. This trip takes 25 minutes. Then we will go and visit Huayna Picchu Mountain. After that we will have a guided visit to the citadel. After hat tour we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes. And that will be the end of this fantastic adventure.
